Every year, Horse Hound and Hunt (HHH) magazine holds its Spring and Fall Socials and Race Meets at their stable about a mile away from downtown Cartersville. Set on 130 acres, there is a ⅝ mile horse track where spectators are able to watch a number of horse races during a day of big hats, style, and fashion.
The benefit for non profits, clubs and groups needing to fundraise is the opportunity to have their own fundraiser at this grand horse racing event. HHH has been known to work with organizations for all inclusive event packages including tickets, tents, caterers, tables, chairs and linens. It’s customized to fit those nonprofits and groups chosen.
In years past, Horse Hound and Hunt has donated ticket packages to non profits for use in their silent auctions with the objective of helping them raise money. Where that is also an option to nonprofits, most are seeing the opportunity to have an amazing event for their major donors, best clients, and corporate sponsors at the horse racing event.
Fundraising is the lifeblood of most non-profit organizations. It not only fuels mission-driven work but also strengthens community engagement and visibility. Among the most effective ways to raise funds and build meaningful connections are events.
Events provide a dynamic platform for storytelling, donor cultivation, and community building. They allow organizations to:
- Showcase impact through presentations, testimonials, and multimedia.
- Strengthen donor relationships by offering a shared experience.
- Attract new supporters through engaging, well-publicized activities.
- Encourage peer-to-peer giving and sponsorships.
Well-executed events leave lasting impressions and can be tailored for different audiences and goals.
