Equestrian Preserve at Old Mill Farm in Cartersville, GA is offering limited boarding spaces (scroll down for pricing and details on our new Rome location).
We are a Training and Event Facility on 128 acres featuring a 5/8th mile conditioning track, turf jump field, cross country course with conditioning hills and fields, outdoor arena and trails.
Boarding Options (3):
Full Care Board $1050/month*: includes dedicated, matted stall with fan (summer), shavings, AM/PM feeding with grain-free, foraged-based diet per recommended amounts based on horse’s age, weight, health and body condition – diet consists of Alfalfa, Alfalfa/Timothy or Orchard hay pellets as carrier for Vermont Blend Mineral Balancer, Triple Crown Golden Flax, Salt, and up to 15 bales Orchard or Orchard mix per month in stall and plentiful Orchard Grass Hay in paddocks (owner provides hay nets (2) for stall and all supplements, de-wormer, and feed/hay if not utilizing EP provided at no discount to board fee), stall cleaned once daily and shavings applied (with stall use), water buckets cleaned and refilled daily (with stall use), daily/nightly pasture turnout (or 24/7 per request) with fresh water, dedicated tack/supply storage, AM/PM inspection of horse with basic first aid applied (owner provided), fly mask/sheet, fly spray (owner provided) and winter blanketing (owner provided), trailer parking, farm manager on staff and our operations manager lives on the property. Use of facilities with the exception of reserved dates for events, weddings, etc….

Partial Care Pasture Board $500/month*: $500.00/monthly Partial Pasture Board fee per horse includes feeding up to two times per day, applying fly spray, mask and/or sheet (spring/summer) or blanketing (fall/winter), 24/7 turn-out in three-board fenced paddock with trough/auto-water station, dedicated tack space, and full use of our Training and Event Facility* featuring a 5/8th mile conditioning track, XC course with conditioning hills and fields, turf jump field, outdoor arena, wooded trails and optional trailer parking (available at no additional fee). Equine owners/caretakers to provide all feed/supplements/supplies in metal can with lid as well as to de-worm, apply first aid, schedule and hold for vet, farrier, dental and/or other services, and must be hands-on and provide essential care for the best health and well-being of the horse. Farm Manager on staff. Operations Manager lives on the property and will conduct daily inspection of horse(s) and report to the Farm Manager – any concerns or issues will be sent in writing to owner/caretaker. *Full use of facilities with the exception of reserved days/times for lessons in the arena or on the track, for events, weddings, etc….

Self-Care Pasture Board $350/month*: $350.00/monthly Self-Care Pasture Board fee includes 24/7 turn-out in three-board fenced paddock with auto-water station and/or water trough, dedicated tack space, and full use of our Training and Event Facility* featuring a 5/8th mile conditioning track, XC course with conditioning hills and fields, schooling jump field, round pen, outdoor arena, wooded trails and optional trailer parking (available at no additional fee). Equine owners/caretakers to provide all feed/supplements/supplies as well as to feed, care, apply first aid, fly masks, fly spray and fly/rain sheets or winter blanketing, schedule and hold for vet, farrier, dental and/or other services, and must be hands-on to provide essential care for the best health and well-being of the horse – including proper diet, hoof, vet and dental care. Operations Manager on staff. Farm Manager lives on the property and will conduct daily inspection of horse(s) and report to the Operations Manager – any concerns or issues will be sent in writing to owner/caretaker. *Full use of facilities with the exception of reserved days/times for lessons in the arena or on the track, for events, weddings, etc….
