The Horse Hound & Hunt Riding Club invites you to join fellow equestrians for a “Fun Run” at the EQUESTRIAN PRESERVE. Enjoy an exciting morning checking out the property while riding the course comprised of the conditioning track and open fields with fences/obstacles optional.
Invite your friends and family to join the fun and cheer you on at our Trailer Tailgating Section!
English and Western Welcome!
- Gates open at 8am with last rider(s) out by 11:30am
- After your ride, enjoy hanging out with your horse(s), family and friends in our Trailer Tailgating Section – BYO picnic, chairs and lawn games.
- Overnight accommodations available (Friday and/or Saturday) – see below
- Stalling available – see below
Tickets:
- Riders = $35/per person – must be paid prior to 9.13.24
- No Tickets will be sold at the door.
- Tailgating Patrons = $10/per person (BYO picnic)

ACCOMMODATIONS: please contact the Equestrian Preserve for reservations of stalls and overnight camping on location @404.918.7700 or equestrianpreserve@gmail.com:
- Stalling = $20/per stall and includes Friday afternoon/evening arrival through Saturday afternoon departure OR Saturday morning with Saturday afternoon departure, OR Saturday afternoon/evening arrival through Sunday afternoon departure (bring your own shavings, water, feed and muck buckets, and please clean up after your horse).
- Camping (primitive)/Overnight Trailer Parking = $10/site – available for individuals and groups arriving Friday evening and departing Saturday OR arriving Saturday afternoon and departing Sunday.
Division Times

- Advanced Division Out (fast pace with fences/obstacles optional) – 8:00-9:00am
- Intermediate Division Out (medium pace with fences/obstacles optional) – 9:15-10:15pm
- Leisure Course Ride (easy pace with fences/obstacles optional) – 10:30-11:30am
Requirements
* All riders required to wear a ASTM/SEI certified helmet and boots – safety vest required if over fences
* Course is clearly marked with fences/obstacles optional
* Fences/obstacles are made of various materials and are up to to 2′7″
* MUST be up to date and present negative Coggins and signed waiver at registration or email prior to equestrianpreserve@gmail.com
* Rain Date September 14, 2024 (in case of inclement weather prior to or on the day of the scheduled ride, we have reserved an alternate date to ensure course safety for horses, riders and our volunteer team).
