Our Summer Camp: Intro to Horses is a beginner-friendly week long orientation designed to learn equestrian necessities. During the week, you will learn important safety protocols, horse behavior, grooming, and basic riding skills. Our introductory summer camp sessions are designed to build comfort, trust, and confidence around horses.
Safety and Behavior
Understanding how horses think keeps you safe
Groundwork and Grooming
Before riding, you must learn to interact with the horse on the ground.
Basic Riding Skills
Introductory riding usually takes place in an enclosed arena on a calm, experienced horse
Horsemanship & Stable Management
- Grooming and Tacking: Hands-on practice brushing horses and putting on saddles and bridles.
- Feeding and Nutrition: Learning about what horses eat and how to mix feed.
- Barn Chores: Participating in daily farm maintenance, like mucking stalls and cleaning tack.
- Anatomy & Care: Educational sessions on horse breeds, colors, and basic first aid

Weekly session fees are $350/child*, with a $150 non-refundable deposit; remainder of money is due at the beginning of camp week.
